About
The Masonic Business Network
MBN connects Masons who own, co-own or manage a business. The purpose is a supportive environment where members help each other succeed, by encouraging mutual support and promoting buying within the network when it makes sense for everyone involved.
Participation is voluntary and based on mutual benefit. Members commit to considering a fellow Mason first, as long as it is also the right call for their own business. The network exists to facilitate business, never to force it.
How it works
Digital directory
A central, searchable list of member businesses, what they offer, and how to reach them. Members keep their own entry current.
Regular meetups
Monthly or quarterly networking sessions, in person and virtual, to build relationships, share leads and discuss opportunities.
Commitment pledge
Buy from a Brother when it is practical and competitive, refer business inside the network, and give honest feedback.
Benefits of membership
- Increased visibility for your business among trusted peers.
- Access to a reliable network for referrals and partnerships.
- Opportunities to share resources and knowledge.
- Stronger bonds and a deeper sense of brotherhood among Masons.
Resources at your disposal
Membership directory
A vetted list of trustworthy, community-minded businesses, kept current by the members themselves.
Collective buying power
Pool resources to negotiate discounts and share costs on advertising and insurance.
Expertise pool
Diverse skills and knowledge across the membership, available for consulting, mentorship and advice.
Communication channels

Engaging the wider business community
A network that only ever talks to itself stops being useful. MBN works deliberately with business groups outside the fraternity.
Joint networking events
Mixers, roundtables and business expos with local Chambers of Commerce, Rotary Clubs and other professional associations.
Goal: Build bridges, share best practices, increase visibility.
Business showcases and open houses
Rotate hosting at member businesses, inviting the local business community and civic leaders.
Goal: Promote member offerings, foster local partnerships.
Educational workshops and seminars
Training on business growth, compliance and leadership, open to the public and to other business groups.
Goal: Position the network as a resource and thought leader.
Community service projects
Charity drives, volunteering and pro bono services in partnership with non-Masonic businesses.
Goal: Build goodwill, demonstrate civic responsibility.
Where we stay out of it
MBN is non-partisan. Any advocacy is limited to business and community issues, never political parties or candidates. Decisions and finances are shared openly with members, and members are surveyed before the network takes a public position on anything, so a stance actually reflects the group rather than whoever spoke loudest.
